The communication with Critteraid was amazing
"I can’t imagine working with any other organization with my little girl, Rosie. The communication with Critteraid was amazing as I received an email back within hours of sending Rosie’s story and the next day I was speaking with a team member on how we could work together to help out Rosie. The Critteraid team was warm and welcoming and told me what I needed to do and I set to it and they worked on what they needed to do. The fundraiser was so inspiring to me, to see the community out supporting this great organization and hearing their stories and seeing them touched by Rosie’s story. Not only did Critteraid help fund Rosie’s amputation surgery but it instilled in me what I always loved doing, which is working with animals on their second chance or more at a new life. Critteraid has quickly become family; they are so kind and caring that you can’t help but fall in love with the team but also all of the critters they talk about and have in their care."

"The kids and I went for volunteer orientation with Critteraid last week. ALL of the kitties there are adorable. Our 1/2 hour orientation turned into being there cuddling and loving kitties for almost 2 1/2 hours. The work and the love and care that they give these cats is incredible. It was so hard to leave all these loving animals. The kids enjoyed it so much they will be back on Sunday for a cleaning orientation then it's a cuddle frenzy when ever they want! Way to be Critteraid you are all ROCK STARS! It doesn't cost anything to volunteer if you have a few hours a week they could use your help, and the reward of cuddling fluffy cats is the best!"

"I went to the open house today. Kudos to everyone who volunteers their time to help the critters.........cats, donkeys and Llamas!...................sadly so many need help. It is through dedicated human intervention like this that some lucky ones find new homes or comfortable care for life with Critteraid. If anyone is looking for an Xmas gift for the person that has everything and is also an animal lover......a donation on their behalf to this very committed and caring organization is a great gift idea. You can sponsor a resident animal for a dollar a day..........................:) There is also a Critteraid Thrift Shop in Summerland that takes donations and sells items to support the farm. Both have FB pages! Check them out......................:)"

"GardenWorks Penticton had the most amazing events/sales going on this weekend. Critteraid was onsite and I have never seen such an amazing up-scale bake sale in my life.....yummy.....complete with a sugar cookie station for kids to decorate their own cookies, an adorable goat and kittens:))) GardenWorks also had pumpkin bowling, face painting, a planter make and take workshop, scarecrow stuffing etc. going on! Way to go GardenWorks and Critteraid, both for supporting our community and our four legged friends...not to mention incredible shopping too:)))) Can't wait to do my Christmas shopping there!!"
