A newborn, injured and starving foal was found on KVR trail by Amanda Chaplin and a friend as they were hiking. Critteraid was contacted for help and we made a few calls. Thank you Sue George, Shelley White and Warren for your help and investing your expertise here!

A blood test is being done to determine if the baby has had mom’s colostrum. We will update as we hear more.

Amanda has named this little guy Gigi! O.A.T.S. is going to be the lead group taking care of this rescue and Critteraid is going to help by raising some money for today’s vet bill.

You can donate via PayPal:

OR you can send in a donation for Gigi to: Critteraid at 113-437 Martin Street (Box 235), Penticton, BC V2A 5L1. We will issue tax receipts for this under our Outreach Program.

Shelley is enroute back from Kelowna with him and he will be very well cared for with O.A.T.S.
